Originally conceived for Stellantis in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which rendered in-person auto shows impractical, the Stellantis Virtual Auto Show (VAS) surpassed its initial scope. Consequently, it continued to operate and receive support even after the auto show circuit resumed.
Vehicles were rendered in the photo realm using Unreal Engine and subsequently transformed into a free-roaming, interactive navigation experience for the website. This navigation allowed users to explore vehicles in a choose-your-own-adventure manner. Additionally, vehicles featured at in-person auto shows were included, along with supporting features such as vehicle specifications, pricing, guided tours, brochures, and live vehicle reveals.
The experience also featured a personalized guide who filmed and integrated their footage into the scenes and environments of the VAS.
